Fido Offers $10/Month 100MB Plan

Fido is a company that is continually updating their plans to keep up with the ever-growing market within the country. The newest claim that they have announced might be their best. The company announced that they are planning to release a new $10 per month for 100 MB data plan that will first become available on August 3. A number of other companies have also announced that they are going to be offering this plan, and are subdivisions of Fido. Other brands that have offered this include Rogers as well as others. It will first become available on Rogers and may even become available on Chatr.

This announcement came from an internal document that was released mistakenly by the company to the Internet. The document gives an outline an overview of all of their plans and services, except those that will be for Blackberry devices such as unlocked Torch 9800. Fido has also stated within this document that they believe that the time is perfect for the upcoming Nokia C6 and the Samsung Galaxy Q to be a part of this deal. With these devices you would also be charged an additional five dollars for every hundred megabytes of data that you use.

A number of other companies including TELUS have had similar plans for quite some time, so this one is not really all that revolutionary when you look at things. Even so, it will be a great addition to the company and should be something great for many users to switch to. To say the very least, it will mean that many users will be able to save money per month, especially if they do not see themselves using a large amount of data. The company has made it clear that they are looking to add additional plans for the users that will make it easy for them to get great service at a discount price.

TELUS Gets Rid of Cancellation Fees for Early Upgrades

Telus as a company that is constantly feeling out their new payment structures for their various services.  The company has made a number of changes to their services and recent times, mostly in an effort to drive down prices and convince more people to run with their service.  We’ve seen the cost of their plans take a nosedive, as well as some of their other fees.  Now, the company has announced that they will be getting rid of cancellation fees for customers that decide to upgrade their plans early.  This makes sense, because why would they want want to punish their users that are upgrading and still staying with the company.  It is nice to see that they are not trying to drain every spare cent out of the users that have stuck with them and been loyal to them throughout the bumpy road that they have provided with their service.

TELUS Gets Rid of Cancellation Fees for Early Upgrades

The company also lower the rates of their roaming when users are going international, but did increase the paper tax rates for most of their cell phone users such as BlackBerry Torch 9800, unlocked Samsung Galaxy S Captivate i897. The idea to get rid of cancellation fees for customers that are looking to void the contract early in upgrade, but stay with the company, is something that a number of other carriers have done in recent memory.  It seemed to work out for them as well.  Hopefully it will work out for Telus just as well.  The company has made it clear that they are willing to reward customers that stay true and loyal to them, and stay with their service to all of the bumpy times.

TELUS Gets Rid of Cancellation Fees for Early UpgradesThere are now allowing customers to upgrade their contracts at any time, without any charge to the user.  The company also said that if users are looking to leave and return to a different carrier, they will no longer have to pay a cancellation fee.  However, the users will still have to pay the balance of their account plus a small fee and a closure charged to ensure that all of their debts are paid.  This should give customers the option to upgrade nearly any time without a charge.  It is nice to see that the company continues to lower their rates, find new ways to save their customers money, and also expand their business.

BlackBerry Monaco and Monza Rebranded as Volt

When it was announced that the Monaco and Monza were coming out and would be exclusive to certain providers but there was no way to know what moniker they would be released under. Thevast majority of people assumed that they would get rid of the “Storm” brand and would be re-branded as another name before these devices would be released. Now it looks even more likely that these devices shed their brand and are able to be released under a whole new name, which looks like it is going to be “Volt.”

BlackBerry Monaco and Monza Rebranded as Volt

A number of BlackBerry fan blogs have stated that a number of sources have stated that the first full touchscreen smart phone will be called the Volt. However, at this time you have to take the report at face value as there is really nothing at this time that confirms the reports that have been out there for the last few days  So far the only thing that is clear is that Research In Motion has called the devices the Monaco 9850 and the Monza 9860.

BlackBerry Monaco and Monza Rebranded as Volt

The devices will feature a nice 3.7 inch full touch screen display, and will also have a 1.2 GHz processor, along with a five megapixel camera and NFC technology that has become all of the rage over the course of the last few weeks as Google has debuted their new Google Wallet technology and various manufacturing companies have announced that their devices will feature NFC technology as well. Rovio has also announced that their new Angry Birds game will feature NFC technology that will allow for users to share levels between one another. Look for other apps and devices to begin to utilize this technology moving forward into the future as well. the Monaco and Monza have not been officially announced in terms of what brand name they will be released under.

Simulation of another BlackBerry mobile is now doing the rounds on the internet

It has not even been a fortnight that the BlackBerry  Unlocked Torch 9800 was launched, and already RIM is ready to bring to the market, a new smart phone having the new operating system. BlackBerry’s 9670 Oxford Clamshell, has been seen previously seen in plenty of live shots before and now, developers who are registered have been given access to a device simulator which shows that a launch is not too far away and might be made available in the market much earlier than you thought. A quick glance through the qualities of the phone reveal a HVGA display, as also a lower resolution external display, a 5 MP camera, which is the standard for a BlackBerry now, 512 MB RAM, along with 4 GB of internal memory and the phone runs on OS 6.

From what has been revealed, the Unlocked Blackberry ( 9670 ) will be available only on CDMA and BlackBerry Torch that was released earlier in the month. The best business strategy would be to release it before the end of summer, after which the kids will be returning to their schools. The Mulroney-grade chin is very predominant in this model also, as it was in BlackBerry’s last flip model. However, the keyboard is very much in the mold of the Curve, and not like the Bold. The laying of the menu and other the other few keys are also very different. Though, it is not expected that the company will overhaul the hardware and hence, it can be ascertained that the simulator might have been made available much before and the designs represent what it might have looked like at that point of time. Overall, the latest offering from BlackBerry does not look too bad; however, one can only be sure when it is finally released.

BlackBerry’s new Torch

The BlackBerry  Unlocked Torch 9800 is being built up as the biggest leap in the evolution of BlackBerry and the fact that it is not over hyped has been echoed by experts, critics and the general public alike. This slider from the company is in a class of its own, having a QWERTY keypad, and a totally optical track pad, alongside the fact that it has touch screen display. The phone is running on BlackBerry 6 OS and the phone has got a total overhaul in the browser facility, with the introduction of tabbed browsers so that multiple numbers of websites can be accessed at the same time. The pinch-to-zoom technology that was so far present only in the unlocked iPhone4 will also be making its debut for BlackBerry.

It is Blackberry’s first phone which will be capable of next-generation messaging that will include messaging in groups for up to 10 people at a time, as well as 10 different locations at the same time. You will be able to access all the popular social networking websites such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and many others from the Torch and that is very good news for all the hip and happening folks out there. The Torch also has by far, the best camera on any BlackBerry with a 5 MP camera that has flash, auto focus technology and different settings for different environments.

The Unlocked  Torch 9800 also has the latest Wi-Fi network support, which can easily be accessed from homes, offices as well as on fastest 3G network in the country that easily has more than 20000 Wi-Fi Hot Spots of AT&T throughout the nation.
