The long rumored Playstation Phone has been the source of a lot of debate. However, on Tuesday, the company a trademark filing that suggested that the rumored device would be launching under the name “Xperia Play.” Most thought that Sony would be keeping the Playstation brand name attached to any of the gaming devices that the launch, but it now appears that the company has decided to go a different route, if the trademark filing is indeed for the phone that it appears to be.
The phone features a slide out game controller that would certainly make gaming a big more interesting and easier to control than it is on other types of smart phones. The phone, at this point still has not been officially announced. Unlocked Sony Ericsson handsets did apply for a European Trademark for the name Xperia Play. They also trademarked a number of other names, but the focus seemed to be on the Play.
The domain for the term was also quickly registered after the trademark was filed. A number of other related names were also purchased around the same time. Although nothing has been confirmed, already a number of videos of the device have been leaked onto YouTube. The Playstation Phone rumors started because the controller pad that the phone features looks a lot like the design of the Playstation controller. With the recent failed campaigns for the PSP Go, the company might be looking to rebrand the first issue of these types of phones to avoid further tarnishing the Playstation brand with unsuccessful releases.
It will be interesting to see what kind of games is released for the phone, and what quality they will be. A recent frame rate test suggested that the phone would be less powerful than an unlocked iPhone 4 and other popular brands, so we might be looking at something different all-together here, aside form the Playstation brand.

The camera has always been one of the biggest draws on any of the iPhone products. Its ease of use, simplicity and high quality have always added to the users experience. However, now the unlocked iPhone 4 comes with a 5 mega pixel camera built directly in to the phone, allowing you to take high quality photos with the click of a button and send them to your friends. Because the iPhone 4 has cameras on both the front and the back of the phone, you can also easily take pictures of yourself using the iPhone 4 using the front-facing camera that is most often used for video chatting and FaceTime video.
Amazing HDR Photography
The high dynamic range function allows you to find the perfect lighting for every picture that you take. Select the right type of lighting for the picture you are going to take, and be amazed with the results that you receive. The difference in exposure levels can completely change the feel of a picture, adding or removing intricate details that are present in the landscape in front of you. You can choose to take a picture with the “regular shot,” or the high dynamic view. Both of these options are available with one click of the screen in the camera roll.
Built In Flash
Having trouble taking pictures at night, during dinner or at a club or bar? The iPhone 4 comes complete with a built-in LED flash that gives you perfect lighting in even the darkest of situation. The 5 mega pixel camera also comes with auto-detection for when the flash is required to receive the highest quality of picture.
Front Facing Camera
The front facing camera allows you to easily take a picture of yourself without having to turn your hand around and hold it far away from yourself, awkwardly. The iPhone 4 unlocked handset allows you to quickly take a self-portrait picture and then upload it directly to your social networking account or share the photo with friends. The front facing camera allows you to see exactly what you are taking a shot of on the screen as you gear up to take a picture, ensuring that you won’t have to constantly re-take portrait shots until you have the right one.
Auto-Focus
The iPhone 4 HD camera also allows you to auto-focus your shots with the click of a button. The macro lens is ideal for both distance shots and closeups. By touching the iPhone display, the lens will automatically focus on the portion of the picture that you have chosen. For instance, if you are taking a picture of your child’s Halloween costume but the phone is having a hard time focusing on it, just tap the face of the person wearing the costume and the phone will automatically adjust and focus.

Have you ever wanted to buy a song that you found on iTunes for your unlocked iphone4, but you just could not make the decision since you were not able to hear enough of the song? You will no longer have that problem now that iTunes is extending the preview time for each song from 30 seconds to 90 seconds. For a lot of songs, you will now get to hear half of the song, which should be more than enough time for someone to be able to make up their mind whether they like the song or not. Also, if you heard a song on the radio, but you were not sure what the title of the song was, then you should be able to listen to enough of the song to recognize if that is the right song or not. In the past, you could listen to a song preview on iTunes, but you would not be able to hear enough of the song or even the main part of the song to be able to tell if that was the song you heard earlier on the radio.

It is really about time that iTunes have extended the time on their songs though; many people have urged for this to happen in the past, and they are just now getting with the game. Most people just began getting on Youtube to look up or listen to songs since iTunes did not play enough of the song anyway; there were many alternatives, but at least now some people will turn back to iTunes full time. To be honest, I think they would be smarter to let you listen to the whole song once, but a decision to do that would probably be a long time from now or never.

According to a leading cell phone blog, a new $7,000 report was released on Monday by the research firm Strategy Analytics. This report had a very in-depth look at the new tablet PC market. Here are some of the things that they found out about in their report. The first thing that the report states is that the manufacturer of
Unlocked iphone4, Apple owned a large amount of the global tablet market in the third quarter of this year. This amount would completely shock a lot of people – 95.5%. This is certainly not a typo, so don’t waste your time re-reading that sentence. The IPad really did own that much of the global tablet in the third quarter. Crazy, right?

Continuing on, the report also showed that the Android tablets made up 2.3% of the market. It also states that the Android tablets will most likely level the playing field quickly even though consumers have not shown a whole lot of interest in them so far. As of right now, like mentioned above, people have shown much of their interest in the IPad. 95% of the tablet market for this quarter is enough to prove that. It will be very tough for any other company or really any other product to be able to match Apple’s IPad. Most people believe that many companies will just try to mimic what Apple did with the IPad in hopes that their sales will rise. This is what has happened in the past anyway. By doing this, they will of course have to lower their price in order to make people want to make the switch or finally buy something that resembles Apple’s version. If this happens, the market will become extremely crowded with tablet PCs.

The Samsung i897 is the newest smartphone offered by Samsung, and is available through AT&T. The Unlocked i897 is also called the Captivate, and will be referred to as the Samsung Galaxy S in AT&T stores. You can use this phone with other cell service providers by receiving a Samsung i897 unlock code – more on that later.

The i897 has been an extremely popular smartphone, and one of the main competitors of the Apple unlocked iPhone4. It features a large touch screen with four navigation buttons below. Web surfing is supported with a 3G network. This phone uses Google’s Android 2.1 operating system.
Like many new phones, the Samsung i897 supports Bluetooth connections and has a GPS feature. The camera feature is 5 megapixels. The camera has autofocus and many other features normally found only on digital cameras – and it has video capabilities as well. The only complaint about the camera is the lack of a flash.
Reviewers have been raving about the sturdy construction of this phone. It is held together in a strong casing, which has a textured back for easier grip – and an attractive design. A few reviewers have reported dropping the phone onto hard surfaces without any damage to the phone or screen.
There are two main complains about the Samsung Unlocked Captive. The first is that only Android Apps are available. And third-party apps are completely blocked. This is a common complaint about all Android phones, and users can only hope that there is a policy change in the future.
The other complaint is that the phone is only available through AT&T. If you aren’t an AT&T customer, there are ways around this roadblock. You can purchase a Samsung i897 and have it unlocked. The best way to go about unlocking a phone is to call your cell service provider and request a free unlock code.
To receive the code, you will need the IMEI number of your phone. To find this code, type *#06# into your phone. This will provide you with the unique IMEI number to give to your cell service provider.
If your carrier is unable to provide you with a free unlock code, there are other ways to unlock the phone yourself. Tutorials about phone unlocking are all over the internet. Be sure to find the specific Samsung i897 unlocking instructions in order for this process to work with your phone. Once unlocked, you should be able to use the Samsung i897 with any cell phone carrier.

iPhone4 users who regard their privacy as next to jewels are going to be highly disappointed by this read. Chicago Sun Times recently reported that Unlocked iPhone4 is popular among detectives and investigators because the device records all the information about its owner and saves it which, in times of investigation becomes an open treasure box for the cops.
As per the report published, a wide range of sensitive personal information gets stored in the iPhone which can later be used to track and identify the owner. Some of the information that an iPhone stores are:
- The hundreds of screen shots that are grabbed by the iPhone when an application is shut down by the user or the user switches between two applications
- Photos that are uploaded contains the GPS co-ordinates embedded in them as well as a serial number that is unique to the iPhone
- Information can also be retrieved from browser history. Even if history is deleted, it can be easily restored by using right tools and with a little bit of knowledge.
- One can also get info about the user from the cached keystrokes that are an autocorrect self-learning feature.
- Data relating to map location gets stored as screen shot after the Map application is closed by the user.

All these delicate data are stored because sometimes it is required to access them for practical purposes to improve the phone’s performance. Other cellular phones too store sensitive information but iPhone stores a little more than what others do. For some people this is not an issue, because a subtle threat to privacy does not bother them at all; what matters to them is a personalized phone that works faster and better. However, for others who are more concerned about their privacy do realize that the collective information stored in their iPhone4 can paint a precise and, many a times, an unwanted picture of their life.
