As expected, Bell launched two major smartphones recently, a new addition to the telecommunications company’s HSPA-capable fledgling line.
Unlocked Samsung Galaxy was the company’s first ever-Android phone and it is the very first North American version of the said handset with 3G capability, 1900MHz and 850MHz onboard. Samsung Galaxy also has Android Market along with other apps included in the said android. The phone’s best feature is its AMOLED touchscreen (480x320 at that). It also carries features that are rather upper end Android such as Wi-Fi, GPS and a 5 megapixel snapper.
The phone’s storage capacity is not something to be ashamed about because it has 8GB storage capacity enough for thousands of music files and images or maybe documents for those who love to work on this Smartphone. The storage facility can also have a microSDHC card if you opt for one.
Bell’s price for the Samsung galaxy unlocked Phone is relatively low. For a three-year contract with the telecommunications company, you only have to pay $100. If want the deal to be contract-free you would have to shell out $450.
Claiming an added novelty, the telecommunications company also managed to become the first North American carrier to have Nokia N97 under its wings. The familiar NAM model with 3G capability also has GPS, which comes in handy from time to time especially if you are driving. It also has Wi-Fi a basic requirement for most technologically perceptive Americans and Canadians and a whopping 32GB storage capacity that definitely separates the Nokia N97 NAM from other handheld devices.
For those who love taking photos, the N97 NAM has a 5 megapixel camera as well so snapping a photo is not an issue. Bell made the right choice for taking N97 in because there are many Nokia fans across North America.
