Preview of the Fallen Earth Mobile edition for the iPhone and the Blackberry app release

July 7th, 2010

The post apocalyptic online mega game known as Fallen Earth has finally come out for the iPhone and the Google’s Unlocked Nexus One Android as a companion app which you can use to better keep in touch with your clan mates on this game. We can give you certain preview screen shots of this app as it is released. Along with this we can also tell you that the Blackberry equivalent for the same has also come out which allows us get the same functionalities as the Android Companion app provides the user

Customers however need to be aware that this game is available for the users at a monthly subscription fee of $14.99 per month.

We here got a chance to take this game out for a test ride and we found that it was definitely worth the wait. As opposed to checking prior sent mails, this will allow you to receive in-game mails, buy or sell the items that you receive or even customize items. However, what we found most interesting is the feature which allows you to chat with the people who are online. Not only that, you can even check out the character profiles and the gear from the game. Hence we are totally recommending this update. However in terms of gamer friendliness this app does lack to some extent as it seems to focus to much on the staying in touch aspect of it rather than the gaming. This fact is corroborated by the fact that you have to log in every time you want to access anything.

In terms of the Blackberry’s Unlocked phone companion equivalent, we feel that it would have been better if the push mail function was used such that we could get the real time updates of other apps like the eBay app. However the Fallen Earth companion beats the World of Warcraft equivalent any day.

I totally agree, this Fallen Earth app is by far superior to the World of Warcraft app. A lot more functionality and a lot more productive when you are not in front of your computer. Plus I can all the CrackBerry and Android users can get in on the action to.
