Walkman on the Sony Ericsson Yendo?

June 21st, 2010

Sony Ericsson has been busy manufacturing a new mobile phone called the Yendo, of which a few pictures have been unreleased in a recent press release. However, upon seeing the images, what one will immediately notice is that the Yendo bears a striking resemblance to the Sony Ericsson Walkman. Images of the Sony Ericsson Yendo were released last week and while we could see images of the phone, the source mentioned that the operating system to be used on the Sony Ericsson Yendo had not yet been disclosed. However, we guess that it might just be the Android, although we are not sure. The best thing about the Sony Ericsson Yendo is that it will be made available in many different colors such as grey, pink, black, purple, red, white, orange, yellow, lime and blue.

The pictures that were being released to the press were given the name W150i, leading us to believe that the Yendo is actually the W150i. Although nothing is confirmed as yet, you can be sure that the phone will have a display size of 2.6 inches and a 5 megapixel camera. The display should be a QVGA display and chances are that the Yendo will be released later this month. We know that Sony Ericsson is planning on introducing another Walkman phone in the market, and now seems to be the perfect time as most of the Ericsson phones currently available in the market have very poor audio output. If Sony Ericsson plans on releasing the Yendo together with Android, you can be sure that demand for it would skyrocket.

With their recent release of the X8, it seems that Sony Ericsson likes to keep its screen sizes small, and judging by the fact that customers have decide to purchase these phones simply implies that the small size of Sony Ericsson is working. While we are still uncertain about the features of the Unlocked Sony Ericsson ( Yendo ), you can be sure that it will not be without wonder.
