BlackBerry’s new Torch
August 24th, 2010The BlackBerry Unlocked Torch 9800 is being built up as the biggest leap in the evolution of BlackBerry and the fact that it is not over hyped has been echoed by experts, critics and the general public alike. This slider from the company is in a class of its own, having a QWERTY keypad, and a totally optical track pad, alongside the fact that it has touch screen display. The phone is running on BlackBerry 6 OS and the phone has got a total overhaul in the browser facility, with the introduction of tabbed browsers so that multiple numbers of websites can be accessed at the same time. The pinch-to-zoom technology that was so far present only in the unlocked iPhone4 will also be making its debut for BlackBerry.
It is Blackberry’s first phone which will be capable of next-generation messaging that will include messaging in groups for up to 10 people at a time, as well as 10 different locations at the same time. You will be able to access all the popular social networking websites such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and many others from the Torch and that is very good news for all the hip and happening folks out there. The Torch also has by far, the best camera on any BlackBerry with a 5 MP camera that has flash, auto focus technology and different settings for different environments.
The Unlocked Torch 9800 also has the latest Wi-Fi network support, which can easily be accessed from homes, offices as well as on fastest 3G network in the country that easily has more than 20000 Wi-Fi Hot Spots of AT&T throughout the nation.
Now, that is just music to the ears for those who are in love with the BlackBerry and everything related to it and the fact that the Torch will be a huge hit might just be a matter of time.
