The slightly modified version of the Unlocked LG Cookie ( plus GS500 ) which is available in Canada has been released in India in the CDMA mode and will be available on networks like Tata, BSNL and MTS mobiles along with major CDMA player Reliance mobile which will be called the LG Cookie Zip. As with the other Cookie phones, this will give a lot of importance to the social networking features and will be priced reasonably.

In terms of the features on this one, the screen is the standard 3 inch touch, a 2 megapixel camera which supports QVGA video recording and of course the MicroSD card support function which we all of course expect. Other than that, there is live TV but we can only get that on the EV-DO network. Battery life is pretty good and it comes with enough back up to last you for over five hours of talk time. Although there is complete integration with social networking web pages, sadly there is no Wi-Fi on this phone. The pricing of the LG Cookie Zip has been set keeping in mind the aspect of affordability and hence has been set at 8,299 INR which comes to around $ 178. Though this price is pretty reasonable we feel that a contractual deal could have brought this price down a tad bit. However, we do not have any such reports which lead us to believe that any carrier is offering any such contractual agreement.
Other than all this, the original LG Unlocked Cookie ( plus GS500 ) comes with 3G and allows you to modify the widgets on your screen and customize the look of your phone. This is sure to be a hit in India which is an emerging market for all types of smartphones. Keep your eyes peeled for more news of such releases.

This handset, the LG KF390 Unlocked Phone was originally manufactured for those living in regions that do not have access to WiFi or 3G networks. Even though it was made for regional use, it will also work very well in areas that are more metropolitan. The handset is well constructed and is very simple to operate. This mobile phone device was one of the first to utilize the HSDPA 7.2 Mbps. therefore; it is not necessary to have an external antenna to operate in remote areas.

The LG KF390 is a slider phone and has a small and elegant styling. The construction is solid in the spring that operates the opening and closing of the phone seems to be durable. The phone will get many fingerprints, especially on the screen and you will need to keep it clean in order to have a clear screen. The keypad is not very large but the keys are raised and there seems to be Apple space in between which makes it very easy to operate. The phone does have additional touch sensitive keys and also has several keys for shortcut use.
This phone does have the simple web browsing features, but you may have a few problems if you search for websites that are not yet compatible or developed for cellular phone use. The Unlocked LG KF390 has the standard MP3 player and a variety of other media resources and features. For text messaging, it uses the T9 predictive input in order to message that much quicker. The phone includes a two megapixel camera, but does not have a flash. The phone sports a 2.8 inch screen and also has the full QWERTY keyboard. This mobile phone device includes 40mb internal memory and you are able to increase the amount of space with the microSD slot, which can give you up to 16gb of additional memory. This phone is considered a slider with the keyboard opening and closing easily.

A day after RIM chief Mike Lazaridis made the official announcement that BlackBerry would be coming out with a white BlackBerry Bold Nokia followed suit with their own announcement of a pale hued E72. Coming with a skinned UI to match the externals the new handset is being announced alongside a firmware update that will improve Ovi Maps, social networking integration and allow for location sharing through Facebook. Internet radio of an unspecified variety has been included as well along with general performance and stability improvements.
Seeing as how the E7x series from Nokia is the closest competitor to the BlackBerry businessphone line it would make perfect sense that Nokia would come out with a white colored device on the heels of RIM’s announcement yesterday. The E7x series from Nokia is strikingly similar to many of BlackBerry’s devices that are targeted for the business crowd. This updated color is just a small part of the enhancements that Nokia made to their E7x series. The various updates included with the new firmware is sure to make the Nokia E7x series that much more enjoyable for the consumer. Much needed improvements to Ovi Maps and enhanced social networking integration will make these mobile devices from Nokia that much more appealing to mobile phone consumers.

Many of the updates to the firmware that Nokia has just implemented were well overdue. Many of the updates surrounding Facebook will certainly be a nice addition to this business minded cell phone. While the E7x series will continue to cater to the business professional it will now include more features that will also allow this device to be used in one’s personal life to keep up with the various social networking websites that are becoming so popular these days.

In one of the better rumors flying around the internet it appears there is a new smartphone from LG that has surfaced in Korea. This new phone known exclusively by its model number LG LU2300 is just another Android phone to be released. The Android 2.1 device is on par with Google’s Nexus One and HTC’s Desire. The LG LU2300 comes equipped with a 1GHz processor, 3.5” WVGA AMOLED capacitive display, 5 megapixel camera, 720p DivX compatibility, DMB tuner and of course the ever popular GS, Wi-Fi and 3G combination. With a set of features like this it is no wonder why people would put this device on par with the other Android power houses such as the Nexus One and Desire.

While it is unknown if this device will ever see a US release it is certain that this device would be able to compete with the other big players in the Android market space. With comparable features the LU2300 would have no problem attracting buyers in the US market. I highly doubt that many consumers would have a problem with another fantastic smartphone hitting the market from which they could choose.
It is a shame that this device is not currently being offered in the US. From the sounds of it this phone appears to be a powerful Android device and has many of the characteristics that unlocked mobile device consumers are looking for. Personally I would like to get my hands on one of these phones to test out the various functions along with the full QWERTY keyboard while checking out that impressive 1GHz processor that this device boasts. Only time will tell if those of us in the US market will get to see this device up close and in person.

If you have ever wished you could own a more eco friendly cell phone then Sprint has a new announcement that you might be quite interested in. Sprint is coming out with the very Earth friendly LG Remarq. The LG Remarq is going to have a slew of features that are designed to help save the environment and is even going to have an Eco Calculator so you can calculate just how much CO2 you are pumping into the atmosphere. The LG Remarq is going to be made up of partly recycled plastics and the entire device will be 87% recyclable when it comes time to get rid of the phone. Not only will the phone be recyclable but the box it comes in will be made of recycled paper, printed with soy ink and will not contain any paper manuals. All of the manuals will be made available online so as to save on paper products.

Specs wish the LG Remarq is not all that remarkable. The phone is set to come with a sliding QWERTY keypad, 1.3 megapixel camera and QCGA display. While these are rather pedestrian specs it is the way the phone makes you feel good about yourself for doing your part for the environment that sets it apart from other mobile devices. The LG Remarq is set to hit store shelves on May 9th for $0 on a two year contract and rebates. So if you are looking to save some money and save the earth at the same time then I would suggest picking up an LG Remarq this May. Mother Earth will surely thank you for sacrificing a little bit of cell phone to help save the environment, just like the Sony Ericsson Aspen.

The LG mini will be one of the smallest and most compact cell phones to come out on the market. This slim touchscreen smart phone will have all of the great features that its larger cousins have. The LG Mobile GD880 may be small in size, but it will be big in the features that it will deliver.
LG has manufactured this new micro mobile phone in a response to the many comments that they have received from users. Many people have been asking for a slim compact phone that would be easier for them to carry. They have also asked that this type of smaller phone be a little bit more reasonably priced and affordable. LG has answered these comments by providing the new LG mini with its thin and elegant styling.

The LG mini sports a 3.2 inch screen, which covers just about the entire firm phone. For an extra design flare, they have included some metal trim around the edges. The LG mini has a five megapixel camera, which I am not sure how they actually fit into such small phone. It allows you to experience the fast Web surfing and you will most certainly be able to keep in contact with all of your friends through Facebook, Twitter and any of the other social networks.
It comes with all the great audio features such as an MP3 player and FM radio. You also be able to experience video playback and voice record. The LG mini has the micro USB port and utilizes stereo Bluetooth 2.1. As far as user applications are concerned, it has all of the useful tools such as your calendar, alarm clock, lists, notepad and has a speaker phone. It does have the micro ST slot and has 100mb memory.
For those looking for a small compact phone, the LG mini should be able to deliver the functionality and styling that you may need. This phone should be available to retailers and users by the end of March 2010. LG has stated that this phone is in response to the numerous comments and that they would sure that it is priced so that many people will be able to afford it. We may only see it in the European market. However, you can always purchase this LG unlocked phone as soon as it arrives here at Pure Mobile.

Is it a watch or is it a cell phone? Guess what, it is both! Why would anyone want a cell phone watch? Well, I can think of many reasons. Matter of fact, I am sure I will be adding the LG Mobile GD910 as an extra unlocked cell phone to my wish list.
Let’s talk about why you need one. This is a fantastic way of not having to carry a phone in your pocket while you are on your morning run. I would personally use it the next time I go hiking. I would not have to worry about where to keep my everyday mobile phone and I can have quick access without having to fumble around in my backpack. If I really told the truth, I think it is just down right cool, and I could be just like James Bond!

Okay, now that I have convinced myself to get one, I need to make sure it is functional. This LG GD910 unlocked cell phone has everything included to make it the perfect watch phone. It is made from tempered glass, so it is great for outdoor use. It has a stylish silver metal casing and is very thin. It is a touch watch phone that has 7.2 Mbps 3G HSDPA compatibility. You will be able to send and receive with this high speed data rate. It has a built in camera and can perform video calls. The screen is small, as it should be since it is also a fully functional watch. It is more than able to send and receive text messages and phone calls are just as simple.
This phone has the large address book and other organizing features. It has voice recognition and can be used with Bluetooth. It also has the text to speech for your messages. It includes a built in speaker for music and has stereo Bluetooth. Now that I know it has everything I am looking for in a phone, I need to sit back and wait until it arrives here at Pure Mobile.

If you do a lot of international traveling for business or pleasure, you most certainly should be using an unlocked cell phone. There is nothing worse than taking that vacation with your cell phone and forgetting about making any kind of arrangements to be able to call home. You get home a month later and you get your cell phone bill. You see those charges from Bermuda and freak out over the amount. Like many, you often forget that international travel needs to be planned when it comes to your cell phone. If you do not have an international calling plan, you need to consider an unlocked cell phone. This allows you the ability to not only to choose the carrier that you want to use as well as able to use and purchase the phone you have always wanted. It also let you access to local services without the high charges. Many travelers will purchase local sim cards once they have reached their destination. This allows them to access the local charges without the high prices of international calling.

Before leaving for any type of trip, you should check and make sure that there are local sim cards available. You can actually find some of these chips that will be able to work with your phone at the airport once you have landed. By taking advantage of a cell phone unlocked like the above LG Xenon and the ability to purchase separate cards, you will see yourself saving tons of money. You can always use this money that you have saved buy your friends and family that extra nice souvenir. Or you can always put that money toward that new smart phone that you have been looking at for a few months. Maybe you have been looking at one of the new LG phones and now that you are traveling smart, you can afford it.
