RIM Makes Blackberry Pitch to Enterprise Using Cardboard Cutouts

August 3rd, 2010

Before the advent of the Unlocked  iPhone 4 and before Motorola’s Android Droid X versions had made its mark in the industry, Blackberry had been surging ahead making money and connecting people with their smartphone. Nokia had been one of the pioneers of this smartphone line of cell phones. Nokia’s Blackberry had been ruling the roost for quite some time now in many countries across the globe. It has its store’s, outlets, manufacturing bases and customer service main offices planted in various corners of the world. Blackberry has been renowned for its class and also its professional approach. They have been a business corporation that sells cell phones in a way a waiter from the face star hotels serve food: that is with absolute finesse. They have been tagged as one of the best when it comes to customer care and support.

Now a new video launched by RIM in YouTube describes in quite an adorable way explaining how Blackberry are ideal for enterprise. The Unlocked  Blackberry  Phones has been accredited in the video for their high viability and tight security with great applications support and sleek user-friendly controls. But the strange and interesting part of the video was that it was done using paper cut outs and sticks and magnets which somehow closely resembled Common Crafts videos. This unique and cute way of putting forward the efficiency of a billion dollar industry has been quite praised and the video has soon gained popularity.

The beautiful part of the entire campaign is that the RIM company use something that has nothing to do with technology and yet tend to advertise about the pinnacle of technology: the smartphones. RIM had previously done something similar to this video where it used low tech stop motion technology to reach out to the masses.
