Although there are a number of options that are currently available to users that are looking to find her phone when it is misplaced, the recently released RemoteRinger might be the best option that is available to them at this time. The application will allow for users to find their device such as unlocked iphone 4, etc.. when it is misplaced or slipped into a crack in the couch, by allowing them to sign a special number to turning the ringer on and off when the phone is in vibration mode. This will help, because when you lose your phone and is currently on vibrate, calling it is going to do very little. You want to be able to hear it when it rains, and the most recent release titled RemoteRinger will allow you to remotely turn the ringer on.
In order to get it to work correctly, you have to assign a special code or number. You may then call the phone by this number, or even sending a text message, which will allow you to turn your ringer back on when it is turned off. The application, as of right now is completely free and is available on the IRS application marketplace. This is an interesting little app that changes the way that people look at these types of applications.

You can already see how many users would find something like this to be helpful. Everyone has lost their phone when was on silence before, and this should help them to avoid those types of situations in the future. RemoteRinger is a cool little application that should gain a pretty loyal following because of the nice little features that it comes complete with. While there are similar applications already on the market, none of them allow you to turn your phone from silence to a ringer quickly and easily as has been brought to the table by RemoteRinger.

LG even when the extra mile with the 1500mAh battery inside of the device, adding extra battery life and power. This was something that many did not expect the company to do, but definitely worked out in their favor.

TELUS has been cutting back on their charges for quite some time, and now they will be severely slashing their international roaming rates, which will be good news for unlocked cell phone users such as HTC Inspire, unlocked Blackberry Torch 9800, etc.. that leave the country quite a bit. The company will be slashing their international roaming rates by a total of more than 50%, according to a statement that the company released today. They also said that the slash in price would still allow for the company to remain profitable when it comes to roaming charges. Some of the drops will be as high as 60%. This is good news for TELUS users and shows that they are really interested in keeping the costs down for their users.

For users that are going to be in the Western side of Europe, Mexico, or in Oceania, they will be able to get the total down to about $1.50/minute, which is a huge savings over the amounts that we were seeing before. The data will also go down to just $10/MB, which is much lower than it was before as well.
It is good to see that they are slashing the rates of their international roaming charges as that was one of the biggest complaints of their users. Overall, TELUS has been able to put together a solid offering for their users with these hugely slashed prices. Users in the Middle East, Latin America, China, India and Africa will only have to pay a total of $2.50 per minute.

TELUS has made it a point to continually drop their prices when it is in the best interests of their customers as well as make an effort to keep up with the competition which has also been slashing prices as of late. This move is one that will be heralded by users such as HTC Maple unlocked, etc. that do a lot of traveling.

The Apple iPad 2 and unlocked iphone 4 had a successful launch in the US and in other countries, and appears to be ready to launch in more than 25 more countries over the course of the next week. Apple is currently looking at an international launch on Friday at 5 PM local time in all of the 25 mentioned countries. The countries included in the launch are Austalia, Austria, Canada, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Poland and Spain among others.
The release is expected to be huge, as the anticipation for the device in these countries is huge and doesn’t seem to be dissipating any time soon. It will be interesting to see if the launch receives the same attention that the US launch did. The US launch saw huge lines at all of the retail outlets and online retailers had huge numbers of preorders. The hype surrounding the launch event was huge and is expected to be just as large in other countries as well.
The 25 country launch is considered to be huge compared to past international launches that the company has had. Usually they have a tiered international launch but it is clear that the company is confident in their ability to launch the device successfully. The number of countries that the device is being launched in shows that they do not anticipate many issues with the launch.
The iPad 2 is already considered a huge success for Apple, and they are hoping for a successful international launch to push themselves over the top. With a reported black version of the iPad 2 in the rumor mill, some may hold off to get something a little different, but you can expect the anticipation in these countries to be huge nonetheless. The iPad 2 features a number of highly anticipated features that were not available with the original version of the device.

The Poynt corporation has continually updated their stats as they gain users to keep people up to date on their progressed. Their local, location based search application is quite useful, and many people have come to use it whenever they are out and about and are looking for something specific.
In February alone,t he company added 30,000 per day on average, which shows that they have become quite popular. There is no end in sight for the growth. The company also announced that the users that were added in February brings their total number of unique users to more than 6.4 million.

Apple is getting ever closer to rolling out a hotspot feature for unlocked iPhone 4, that has been highly anticipated by consumers. They have said throughout the process that they were going to be offering Wi-Fi hotspots that supported up to 5 users at the same time, but now it appears that only three connections will be allowed at the same time. The information was released on the support documents that are found on the Apple website.
Users utilizing the personal hotspot on iOS 4.3 will be allowed to share the internet connection that is provided to their phone through both Bluetooth and USB. This is a feature that many have been waiting quite some time for and has been highly anticipated. A number of recently released Android phones have had the feature as well.
Of course, three devices is probably all you would want to have hooked up to your personal hotspot anyway. Having five devices sucking up the internet from the hotspot would really drain the speed and would make it hard to navigate through hefty online sites and transfers of large amounts of data.
The issue here is, however, Apple has been preaching the 5 device limit since the feature was first announced, and the newly discovered three device limit means that Apple s not going to deliver on the original promise that they made. Regardless, users will be happy to have access to any type of Wi-Fi hotspot and will probably not have any problem with the changes. Of course, wi-fi hotspots are still up to the digression of the company that will be providing the connection, so we will have to wait and see what kind of restrictions they are looking to put into place.

As per the one of the leading unlocked cell phone blog site, Microsoft Kinect was released to a lot of criticism, but that hasn’t stopped it from performing unexpectedly well since its release. Microsoft today announced that the Kinect has sold more than 8 million copies since it was first released. Keep in mind that this number was boosted by the fact that there were already so many XBox 360’s out there in circulation at the time of release.
The Kinect boasts a more advanced Wii-like set of features that allow users to control the console without having to use any sort of controlling device. It reads the motions of the person themselves and then converts them into controls for the console.
The Kinect has been alarmingly popular and has sold very well since it was first released. It is clear that Microsoft is attempting to turn the XBox into a complete home entertainment system, and the Kinect was an important step in that process.
With over 8 million copies of the Kinect sold, it serves as another grand accomplishment for Microsoft, a company that has been short on accomplishments in recent years. With the unit having only been available for the last sixty days the eight million numbers is huge, and they are expected to surpass the 10 million mark over the course of the next few weeks.
This definitely does not bode well for the Wii, a console that has marketed itself toward families and young children. The Kinect essentially took the features that were offered by the Wii and expanded upon them, making them more precise and crisp. Hopefully they will continue to expand upon the features offered by the Kinect in the future. With the success that it has seen Microsoft will not be able to neglect it in the future.

It’s good to see that Opera is taking their current users into consideration and have continued to develop their browser for multiple platforms. The Opera browser continues to increase in popularity as the company targets niche markets who are looking for faster browsing. Opera as a company continues to go above and beyond the call of duty.
