July 29th, 2010Augmented Reality comes into the fray as Shotzoom Software is coming with its newest golf app for the Apple’s Unlocked iPhone4. With this new app, they have only wished to target the owners of the iPhone only. With this the users can experience the augmented reality of several golf courses all around the world and follow the arrows from the camera viewfinder and if one needs more information they can simply click on the spots from where you will be directed to the pages which will give you the information about the specific place that you want to check out.
This app has an amazing support capability to the tune of around thirty five thousand courses around the world and has over forty targets for every hole which pretty much means that this app can be used at any golf course around the world and at any time of the day. The Golfscape is available at a nominal pricing of $19.99 and can be purchased from the iTunes store. The Shotzoom app is a relative upgrade from its initial two apps which were also pretty successful. These older apps are the Golfshot which was the Golf GPS and the GolfPlan which was also developed with assistance from golfing experts like the Ryder Cup captain Paul Azinger. Both these apps are pretty famous and popular on the iTunes store and can be purchased from the store at prices of $29.99 and $4.99.
There also have been some reports that the Golfscape also has the capability to run on the Unlocked Iphone 3GS as this phone also comes with a built in compass. Therefore if you are a golfing fan then this one is definitely for you. Just use this on the course and you will be able to see the obstacles and all that is ahead of you by simply holding the camera up.
