The 2010 MeeGo Conference, which was, in its earlier rendition, known as the Maemo Conference has opened its doors for audiences waiting to grab the 600 free seats that have been made available. And if you want in on the event, you need to act quickly because the seats are reserved like hot cake, you can be sure of that.

However, this should probably act as a fair warning to any average person, or even the most loyal of smartphone enthusiast because it might get a bit boring from time to time, with so many gadgets, so much technology all running at the same time and those that do make an impression on your mind, are scrapped in the test stage and are not mass produced. And it is imperative for you to know that unless your laptop runs on any of the billion Linux distributions that are available and can [...]

The BlackBerry  Unlocked Torch 9800 is being built up as the biggest leap in the evolution of BlackBerry and the fact that it is not over hyped has been echoed by experts, critics and the general public alike. This slider from the company is in a class of its own, having a QWERTY keypad, and a totally optical track pad, alongside the fact that it has touch screen display. The phone is running on BlackBerry 6 OS and the phone has got a total overhaul in the browser facility, with the introduction of tabbed browsers so that multiple numbers of websites can be accessed at the same time. The pinch-to-zoom technology that was so far present only in the unlocked iPhone4 will also be making its debut for BlackBerry.
It is Blackberry’s first phone which will be capable of next-generation messaging that will include messaging in groups for up to 10 [...]

NAVIGON develops third-party mobile solutions that are used by the Unlocked iPhone4, known as MobileNavigator and has been in the business for as long as 19 years. Many are aware of what it really is as it appeared first on PocketPC and has also made an appearance on the platform of the Android.
The sale, however, applied only to the versions of the iPhone and also included the company’s titles for North America and maps for most of the other countries as well. In-App purchases of Traffic and Panorama were also included in the discount scheme by the company. The discount included the following as well:

Very recently, there was news that the TweetDeck Beta for Android had been leaked and the news was met with a huge frenzy and craze from all over the globe, but that excitement soon died down when it was reported that the leaked version was an old build. However, there is something to get excited as of now. The Twitter application that is on Android phone will be launched in just over a few days or so, as it was reported on the Twitter account of TweetDeck. (That could easily make for a very hard tongue twister: TweetDeck Twitter Account)
But unfortunately, it will not be available in the Android market just as yet, which is definitely not a very good thing. It is being reported that it might take at least a few more months or even a year for this to happen, and that is just plain sad. But [...]

iPhone4 users who regard their privacy as next to jewels are going to be highly disappointed by this read. Chicago Sun Times recently reported that Unlocked iPhone4 is popular among detectives and investigators because the device records all the information about its owner and saves it which, in times of investigation becomes an open treasure box for the cops.
As per the report published, a wide range of sensitive personal information gets stored in the iPhone which can later be used to track and identify the owner. Some of the information that an iPhone stores are:

The hundreds of screen shots that are grabbed by the iPhone when an application is shut down by the user or the user switches between two applications
Photos that are uploaded contains the GPS co-ordinates embedded in them as well as a [...]

One of the world’s leading companies in wireless telecommunications infrastructure, Ericsson, have sold their two millionth cell site, it was recently announced by the company in a recent press release. The Ericsson RBS 6000 was deployed by the company to do GSM/EDGE/WCDMA and updated to take up only 25% of the space that the previous generations required, to an anonymous operator that has been working to expand the credibility of their mobile broadband capabilities.
The most intriguing fact about this piece of news is the time span between the sale of its one millionth base station, which was bought by MTN Nigeria in 2007, after Ericsson had spent 20 years in the wireless telecommunications industry. Now, only 3 years and a few months later, the company has been successful in selling its second millionth cell site, however the buyer is not exactly known and perhaps, will never be known. However, the [...]

For devices that are powered by Android, Gesture Search is a very handy tool that can be used to search through the entirety of your cell phone, and for that you just have to draw on the screen and the rest will be done by the application itself, and what’s more interesting is the fact that it has become even more interesting after it was updated and a new feature called the Double Flip was added.
The function of the double Flip is to launch the application of the Gesture Search, which can be done just by flipping the phone, no matter where you might be on the phone. All that is required for one to do, is to flip the phone face down, and then bring it back up and the application will be launched. However, there still are many glitches. Try enabling the Double Flip function and after changing [...]
