It’s official everyone PureMobile has finally got Nokia N97 NAM.  Currently we have the black one in stock but most importantly this is the NAM version.  This means that it is fully functional on the North American 3G networks.

You get everything that was promised in this iPhone killer.  You get the 32GB of internal memory, 16GB of MicroSD expansion, and a full slide out keyboard.  The N97 even has a 5MP camera.

This is the phone everyone has been waiting for.  Now we will see if the Apple iPhone 3Gs can be de-throned as the most popular phone on the market.  Since it’s only been a few weeks it’s only a matter of time before we know how well it will do.  For now anyone who wants one should pick it up while it’s available.  They are sellign fast

Alright so as the title mentions this is simply a rumor but according to sources at BoyGeniusReport.com Telus will be getting the iPhone in October.  This wil be just in time for the launching of their new HSDPA network that they wanted to have in place before the olympics.

If this rumors proves to be true it will a huge boost to the launch for Telus and definitely be competition for Rogers and Fido.  This will make 3 out of the 4 providers in Canada carrying the Apple iPhone 3Gs.

For now we will just have to wait patiently wait and see what happens with this.

We’ve been reading about a lot of complaints from people who aren’t happy about having to pay full price to upgrade to the new Apple iPhone 3Gs, but what people aren’t realizing is the benefit to the phone staying similar in size.  This means all the iPhone 3G accessories that worked on the original iPhone 3G will work on the iPhone 3Gs

This means that the iPhone 3G Griffin accessories will work on the new iPhone 3Gs.  That means products like the AirCurve, PowerBlock, AutoTrip and PowerJolt will all work.

Even the complete line of iPhone 3G iSkin Accessories will work with the new Apple iPhone 3Gs.  All your favourite skins from the Revo2 and Duet to the Solo and Solo FX will all still work.

Even the Power Support PIA06C screen protector will continue to work.

So with everyone complaining that pricing sucks people should look on the bright side and realize they won’t have to pay more for new accessories like they did when they Apple iPhone 3G came out.  Remeber when all the original Apple iPhone accessories became obsolete as soon as the iPhone 3G came out.

Well it seems to follow up on our earlier posts we have received more information regarding the iPhone 3Gs coming to Canada.  According to a report over at BoyGeniusReport.com it seems that us in Canada will be able to get the new Apple iPhone 3Gs at the same pricing as in the US.   This means that as of June 19th the iPhone 3Gs will be available in Canada at both Rogers and Fido for the same pricing as the US.  The 16GB will be $199 (new activation) the 32GB will be $299 (new activation) and the 8GB iPhone 3G will be $99 (new activation).

Rogers will also be reactivating their 6GB for $30 plan for a limited time with the iPhone as of June 9th.  This is currently available but only for their new HTC Android phones.  You will be able to tether your iPhone to your laptop but your plan has to be a 1GB minimum plan.  The best news of all is if you want the new iPhone 3Gs but you aren’t eligible for an upgrade or don’t want a contract you will be able to buy the iPhone without a contract.

This seems to be validated by a Rogers spokeperson through twitter as was reported by the Globe and Mail.  I guess all anyone can do is wait until June 19th when the iPhone is released.

Well it’s that time of year again.  It’s Apple’s WWDC.  Basically every year Apple has a conference to announce new products.  Since 2007 they have been announcing the iPhone and this year has been no different.

Apple has announced the Apple iPhone 3Gs.  It’s similar to the previous but like anything new it does have its differences.  The new iPhone3Gs will have longer battery life, overall be faster both on the 3G side and on the phone’s side overall.  Best of all the Apple iPhone 3Gs will be coming in 16GB ($199USD) and 32GB ($299) versions.

Now the big question is will Rogers Communication be carrying the new iPhone?  At this time no one is sure.  Rogers hasn’t officially said they would be carrying it but Apple did say it would be available in 80 countries worldwide by August.  In an article in the Globe and Mail it was said that “…[n]o Canadian carrier has been officially announced for the iPhone 3GS and Rogers officials were not immediately available for comment.”

The other big news is Apple announced that the Apple iPhone 3G will still be available and be taking a price cut to $99USD.  Does this mean that Rogers and Fido will follow suit.  Granted the price might not drop to $99 but with the exchange rate can we see an iPhone 3G 8GB at $125CAD or less.

So today Nokia posted a press release on their website to announce the release date or sort of launch date of the Nokia N97.  Now they haven’t said an exact date but they said it would be shipping in June.  Likely that means toward the end so except it to be available sometime around June 30th.

As for the Nokia N97 itself this is the phone everyone has been waiting for.  It has 32GB of internal, Wi-Fi, up to 16GB expanision with the MicroSD slot.  This phone is being called the iPhone killer and I guess soon enough we’ll all know
