This week we, at PureMobile, thought it would be good to announce a little about what's going on.  Like every year manufacturer's tend to release new products both accessories and phones.  Well this year we are proud to announce that we will be carrying the complete line of accessories from Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Griffin and iSkin

That means all acessories from Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Griffin and iSkin will be here.  All accessories for all their phones will be available.  This includes current, future and already released phones.  That means accessories for the iPhone 3G, Xperia X1 and the N97 will be available or already are.

What this means for our customers is better choice.  Not only will we be carrying all the latest phones but the accessories to go with them.  So if you are looking for a car charger for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 you can get the CLA-70.  If you want the car charger for your iPhone then you can get the PowerTrip from Griffin.

With many phones expected to be released this year and Sony Ericsson and Nokia expecting release some of the hottest with the N97 and the Sony Ericsson Idou there is no telling what the year will bring, but one thing is for sure PureMobile will have all your accessory needs.

This year at the Mobile World Congress Sony Ericsson announced the Idou.  Since we haven't had any real hands on with the phone yet we, at Puremobile, thought a brief discussion of the phone was due

The Sony Ericsson Idou looks like it will definitely be a top contender and the thing that really sets this phone out above all the rest is the 12 mega pixel camera.  The 12MP camera is the feature that is currently getting the most attention, but there are other features like a touch screen that looks to have been throughly tested to make sure it didn't feel like it was just put on the phone as an after thought.  Also the Idou will be working on the Symbian operating system.  For people who aren't sure it is the same one that is used by Nokia on phones like the N95.  This is a robust operating system that has a proven track record for quality.

For now the Sony Ericsson Idou looks like it will be an amazing phone, but like all new phones we won't know for sure until they are actually released.  The other issue is Sony Ericsson has not announced a release date yet.  So like everyone else we, at puremobile, are eagerly anticipating the release of this phone.

About to do something dangerous? This app traces your steps and saves them when you start up the software, and has one big help button to push when you’re in trouble. The app will then contact a chosen friend (asset, ally, etc.) with your current position.

NATO Alphabet

Echo --- bravo --- zulu --- niner. Don’t look like a chump if you have to start busting out NATO alphabet code. Odds are you won’t use this, but it’s good to have just in case.

Lie Detector App

Save time and try to get the truth. While lie detectors are about as pseudoscience as you can get, an app like this still might have a use.

Change Your Caller ID

Fairly self-explanatory. Don’t let your number give away your identity, or rather, change it to what you need it to be.
